NOTES
DescriptionCanine aggression is a commonly misunderstood behaviour in the dog world. Join Pat Miller, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, and the Cochrane & Area Humane Society for a two day seminar learning about dog aggression. Dogs who bite are a risk to families, visitors, and the community at large. They are also a risk to themselves, as dogs with aggressive behaviours all too often end up in the euthanasia room. This two-day seminar will explore the causes of aggression, examine the different types of aggression, and debunk some of the common myths. There is plenty of opportunity built into the schedule for questions and discussion, and Day 2 includes analysis of actual case histories and outcomes. The seminar will also address a variety of behavior modification techniques, and provide attendees with tools and information to help them understand and work with dogs who have aggression challenges.
