NOTES

Description
Pia Silvani is coming to Ottawa on September 19-20, 2015(CEU approved by OAVT & CCPDT). Hosted by Forever Friends Dog Training.

At Forever Friends we believe that good play skills form an excellent foundation for many necessary social skills. After a year away from lecturing, Pia will present a new training seminar on understanding and facilitating appropriate play with other dogs and humans. Play is a state of mind rather than an activity (Brown 209, p.60). Brown believes that the motivation for social play is the desire for acceptance, the need to belong. Only through the experience of mutual play does the feeling of belonging develop.” Pia will present many other reasons to encourage play with our dogs and demonstrate some useful training techniques for problem resolution.

Please visit the website page for more information on the workshop agenda, dog friendly accommodation in Ottawa and how to get your early bird or group discounts: http://www.foreverfriendsdogtraining.com/pia-silvani.

Please note that this event is CEU approved by both OAVT and CCPDT (listed on their websites) for your continuing education.
