NOTES

Description
Mental Management 2-Day Seminar, coming to Elmvale, Ontario on March 2-3, 2024 with Barbara Currier. Barbara will explain the science behind WHY agility competitors experience common mental struggles such as:
- difficulty managing performance pressure
- difficulty managing environmental distractions
- pre-run anxiety (and all the distracting symptoms that go with it...the sweaty palms, the rapid heartbeat, the pacing around, the difficulty concentrating on the course)
- disappointment/frustration when things don't go well
- difficulty managing self-image
- difficulty managing the balance between being a good competitor and a good friend/coach for those we're with at the event
- the fragile balance between being fierce and competitive vs level-headed and calm-minded
- difficulty maintaining criteria for our dogs (i.e. start lines, contacts, weaves) in a trial setting

Next, she'll give you a set of immediately useful strategies to shift mindset and help you use your headspace to actually enhance your peak performance. GAME. CHANGER!

A couple of working spots remaining, lots of space for auditors. Reach out at elaine.e.welbourn@gmail.com if you are interested in participating, or if you have any questions.
