| During my childhood, my parents showed Welsh Corgi Pembrokes, and I commenced in purebred dogs with Jack Russell Terriers in the 1990's, and Border Collies with my wife, Nadia under the 'Classicyds' prefix in 2009. I have been fortunate to own and campaign Australian Kelpies, a Welsh Corgi Cardigan, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen and a Hungarian Vizsla to their Australian Championship titles. Together with Nadia and our daughter, Mel we have bred Royal BIS, Royal BOB, All Breeds BIS and Speciality BIS winners, and have multiple Supreme Champions, Grand Champions and Champions in both Jack Russell Terriers and now Border Collies. Our kennel has produced the youngest two Supreme Jack Russell Terriers of all time in Australia, and for 3 consecutive years, we were Australia's Number JRT kennel. We have had the Number 1 Border Collies in Queensland for the last 4 years. I commenced my Judging journey in 2011 and in 2020 I was honoured to be appointed as an All-Breeds Judge with the ANKC (now Dogs Australia). My wife Nadia Attridge is licenced to judge Toys, Hounds, Pastoral/Herding and Non-Sporting Groups; and my daughter Mel Attridge is licenced to judge Terriers, Hounds, Pastoral/Herding, Gundogs (all) and Non-Sporting Groups. My passion for pure-bred dogs extends to me being heavily involved throughout the years in numerous aspects of our hobby. In addition to Conformation, I compete with our Border Collies in a range of dog sports, titling dogs in Endurance Trials, Obedience, Rally O and Trick Dog Trials, and I am a licenced Endurance Trial Judge. I have been exceptionally fortunate to have been able to judge across all states of Australia, the USA, the Philippines, South Africa, China and New Zealand, and feel privileged to have met so many amazing people across this hobby. |
