| conditioned all his own dogs to win top honors at Westminster, the National Specialty at Montgomery County,
and Best in Show. He is an active Board member of the Cairn Terrier Club of America and the Chair of national club's Cairn Terrier Judge’s Education program. Joe was part of the committee that wrote the "Illustrated Guide to the Cairn Terrier" which is the breed's updated illustrated standard and is now used globally as a key education tool and is considered the definitive guide to understanding the essence of the Cairn Terrier. Joe has judged in the UK, Denmark, Finland, and Belgium and he has travelled to the World Dog Show and Crufts on numerous occasions. He also has judged the Cairn Terrier National Specialty twice, multiple Terrier breed specialties, and recently judged at the Westminster Kennel Club. Currently, he judges the entire Terrier Group and multiple Toy breeds. |
