| Born & brought up in Perth, Scotland, my first cavalier came into my
life in 1971, when I was only 14 years old and they’ve been my passion
ever since. As a competitive horsewoman, I didn't start taking an interest in showing and breeding seriously, until the early 80's, my first Champion being born in 1986 - Ch Millhill La Peche JW, who gained her title in 1989 - winning BIS at The Scottish CKCS Championship Show. A further 6 UK Champions followed, in 3 of the 4 colours. Ch Millhill Le Monde, Ch Millhill Le Voleur, littermate record making Ch's Millhill Le Frere & Millhill La Miel, Ch Lisgarth Petrouchka at Millhill & Ch Millhill Le Sage. There have been a number of other CC & RCC winners, the most noteworthy being the very successful sire - Hometown Ever Hopeful at Millhill 2CC, 3RCC and mother of 4 Champions, Millhill La Fraise JW 2RCC. There have also been a number of overseas Millhill Champions. I've awarded CCs in the breed for 25+ years and also awarded CCs in Papillon’s. I've judged the breed in the USA, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Germany & France plus a number of CC appointments in the UK. In 2027 I will have the honour of judging the breed at Crufts. |
