Biography |

Lloyd Amodei (Kennel – J ‘n L) - I first became involved in dogs with German Shepherds. My Shepherds were handled by famed handler LaMar Kuhns. Later, I developed an appreciation for Doberman Pinschers. I have owned and finished several in the late 1980s and 1990s. In the 1980s I found my beloved Boston Terriers. While maintaining a full time job, I have been actively breeding and showing Boston Terriers for over 25 years. I have owned National Specialty winners and have bred many champions over the years. I later became involved with Brussels Griffons and Miniature Schnauzers through my spouse, John Constantine, and have been enthusiastically breeding and exhibiting these breeds since then. I began judging in 2013 and have judged several specialties around the country. I am currently approved for the Working Group, Miniature Schnauzers, Brussels Griffons and, of course, Boston Terriers. I will be applying shortly for several terrier breeds. I have served on the board of the Boston Terrier Club of America. I am also a member of and serve on the board of the Penn Treaty Kennel Club and am co-show chair of the Greater Philadelphia Dog Club; I am Vice-President of the Liberty Brussels Griffon Club and an active member of the Boston Terrier Club of America, I am a member of the American Miniature Schnauzer Club and serve as liaison for the National Specialty held in conjunction with Montgomery County Kennel Club. I am also vice-president and serve on the board of the Tri-Angle Boston Terrier Breeders Club. |
