Biography |

Lynne has been in the dog world for over 35 years, she started showing Afghan Hounds breeding several Australian Champions and an Afghan Hound of the Year (Qld. Comp), she then made her mark in the Dog World when she started showing and breeding Dobermanns a few years later, both breeds being bred under the Cabochon prefix. She has bred over 75 Dobermann Champions and 5 generations of Grand Champions as well as many Multi BIS winners. Lynne's quest for knowledge about her breed lead her to becoming a judge, she set out to get licensed for only two groups, Hounds and Utility but she soon realised that you learn more about your own breed when you study other breeds. She was granted her first judging licence Hounds in 1982, then two years later the Utility Group, and studied hard over the years to attain her All Breeds Judging licence in 1999. Lynne has judged in France, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and over 40 shows in the USA that includes 2 Dobermann Specialties and a Samoyed Specialty. She has an appointment in 2008 to judge a Dobermann Specialty in England and has invitations to judge in China and India. Being an accredited tester for the ANKC judges training scheme, Lynne has spent years involved in the trainee judges scheme in Melbourne. With her partner John, Lynne now shows and breeds both Dobermanns and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, owning and breeding the #1 for both breeds in Australia 2007. |
