Description
If you have a purebred Golden Retriever that has been diagnosed with, or is suspected to have, Pigmentary Uveitis or a Golden Retriever 11 years of age or older with normal eyes, they are eligible for our study. Our clinic will include a complimentary eye examination performed by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist (Lynne Sandmeyer, DVM, DACVO). We will require a small blood sample and cheek swab to obtain DNA. There is approximately a 45-minute commitment for your appointment. You will be provided with an OFA form with detailed findings for your records.
