The Prince Albert SPCA has issued a media release, informing the public that the shelter has been free of parvovirus outbreaks for over two weeks, as of February 21, 2008. Exhibitors coming to the Prince Albert Kennel & Obedience Club show on March 7-8-9 are assured by the SPCA that there is no current threat to dogs.
Kathy Horne, PAKOC Show Superintendent, would like to assure exhibitors that PAKOC will still take additional precautions by setting aside designated exercise areas that will be regularly disinfected throughout the show. Main access points to and from the building will also be regularly disinfected.
