Charity Collars For Cancer

Pets get the same kinds of cancer as people, just more of it – dogs get 35 times more skin cancer, four times more breast tumors, eight times more bone cancer, and twice as much leukemia. Scientists studying pet cancer can also shed light on human disease and pets can benefit from new human cancer therapies.

Each orange Pet4Pets charity collar sold provides $2 to the Animal Cancer Foundation, which focuses funding on new science that benefits both pets and people. Pets wear the decorative charity collars just as people wear wrist bands for good causes.

The ACF helps fund new research in advanced and novel therapies for cancer in companion animals. The ACF does not fund research that would harm or induce cancer in pets. It funds clinical trials of new treatments.

Tug Leads Fundraiser for N.O.W.D.A
Northwestern Ontario Working Dog Association

N.O.W.D.A. members are making & selling polar fleece tug leads as a fund raiser. These leads are a training tool for Agility, Obedience, Rally O, and are just plain old 'fun to have'. The tug leads specifically enhances the relationship with dog/handler & are durable, long lasting, washable & very strong. They make a great gift and are excellent for trophy prizes as well.

Pet Oxygen Mask Fundraiser
Canine Benefactors Society

Pets are involved in many rescue situations such as fires. Pets needing oxygen require specially shaped oxygen masks because human masks do not usually work well on animals. There is a huge need for these masks but generally there is no budget for them in most departments.

Canine Benefactors Society is raising money to provide oxygen masks to Canadian fire and rescue departments. These special masks work with all standard oxygen equipment because only the shapes are specific to pets. Canine Benefactors Society, CBS, is a nationally registered Canadian Charity.

You can make a donation to CBS to purchase masks for your community fire and rescue departments. Donations can be made on line, or mailed.
